in response to PLZZZZZZZ...   Geez... You still have TV? I agree with CATLUV. I lost Dish service a while ago. And can't pay my bills. and reason for that is the money is just not there. I even had a few credit cards, I had to quit paying them over a year ago, reason!! The money was just not there....Sorry, just my thinking.

in response to PLZZZZZZZ...   If you’ll give me some more information in a private message, I’ll contact the corporate office of Direct TV on your behalf and see what I can do. I admire you for taking a stand to help your family at such a young age.

in response to PLZZZZZZZ...   You should be able to contact Direct TV, explain your circumstance and send back any service pieces. When calling and speaking with a representative you can also work out a deal, reduce any fees, in addition to contacting the BBB .. the idea they would expect you to pay a charge of $800, especially once you've made arrangements to return the service parts back, is ludicrous. And ultimately, when it comes down to it, whatever fees you would be left with can be made in small payments - they are happy to get any money at all, especially if you've returned any items, even if they're late. This sounds like a company you are no longer using .. therefore, your service is not going to be turned off ... plus, it's not an essential monthly bill or expense, ... for example, it's not the electricity nor the rent, therefore you're not facing any sort of emergent situation ... I would suggest getting the items returned as soon as you can, speaking with the representatives with customer service and asking for a break for any late fees. There's no need to end up paying any sum close to that amount of $800 ... or $100 if you ask me.
